Fearless poker either makes or breaks you, but for Danish poker professional Gus Hansen, it's often a great tactic. His aggressive and sometimes crazy play seems to have paid off once again.
The World Poker Tour World Championship has reached the final table and the last six players. The winner will rake in a whopping $3,389,140 first prize, although all remaining players are guaranteed $105,525.
As usual, Full Tilt player Gus Hansen has got himself a seat at the final table, which proves that he's one of the bet tournament players today. If he would go and win this, it would be his 5th WPT title and a nice addition to his tournament winnings, which already are over $5.5 million.
But it won't be that easy. Although he is the chip leader, David Chiu - another great player - is not far behind.
Chip counts going in to the last day:
Seat 1 - John Roveto - 2,720,000
Seat 2 - Gus Hansen - 8,570,000
Seat 3 - David Chiu - 6,050,000
Seat 4 - Tommy Le - 1,950,000
Seat 5 - Cory Carroll - 6,670,000
Seat 6 - Jeff King - 1,305,000
