Rhett Butler finished took in the 2006 WSOP Main Event and earned a good $3 million - to the joy of a number of friends who had backed him in the tournament.

Prior to becoming an insurance agent, Rhett earned a living playing cash game poker. Nevertheless, even though he has been playing poker for more than 25 years, the final table finish in 2006 World Series of Poker was the first time he ever cashed in poker tournament. Since then he's had a number of in-the-money finishes, though.

Rhett has a college degree from James Madison University and now lives with wife and three children in Rockville, Md.
