Review of Full Tilt Poker
Accepts all U.S. players.
Bonus Requirements
When you sign up at Full Tilt Poker and make a first deposit you receive a 100% match bonus up to $600.
To release the bonus you must play a number of raked hands. For each dollar raked in cash-game pots, every player who was dealt cards receives one point. You can earn up to three points per hand, however, partial points are also awarded when the pots and rake amounts are small.
Each point is worth $0.06, which means that you can earn $18 bonus dollars/100 hands.
In tournaments, you earn 7 point for each dollar you pay in entry fees.
Review
Full Tilt Poker is a stand-alone poker room with good player traffic (peak hours: 10,000 in cash games and 70,000 in tournaments.) The games run smoothly and there are lots of useful functions included in the poker client. The design is innovative with a wide selection of player avatars - you actually have the possibility to create your own.
Full Tilt Poker has a number of world class players in their team, including Mike Matusow, Gus Hansen, and Phil Ivey. As a result of this, there’s lots of exciting high stakes action going on, but naturally there are many low limit tables available as well.
The competition is generally rather tough at the higher limits and it won’t be easy to make a profit there. It is, however, possible to find loose low-limit Texas Hold’em games and since the site accepts U.S. players, the world’s largest player base, there is a steady stream of new players signing up and depositing dead money.
Full Tilt Poker is generous when it comes to promotions and offers as massive $600 sign-up bonus, WSOP/WPT satellites, and much more.
