Frank Scoblete is an expert on almost every casino game imaginable. He sold millions of books on various gaming topics. Scoblete has written books on slots, video poker, roulette, baccarat, blackjack and Spanish 21, but his first love was craps. In 1991, Scoblete published "Beat The Craps Out of the Casino: How To Play Craps and Win." To this day, it remains the No. 1 selling craps book of all time.
Frank Scoblete teaches seminars on his Golden Touch Dice Control system. Dice control (or rhythmic rolling) was developed in the 1970s by 'the Captain' and 'the Arm,' two prolific craps players from Atlantic City. They shared their knowledge with Scoblete, and through seminars, books and DVDs, Scoblete has shared their insights with millions of hopeful players.
In rhythmic rolling, players have to position themselves properly at the craps table . The dice have to be picked up at the right angle and griped a certain way. The throw has to be controlled (your arm, wrist and even your fingers have to be positioned correctly), and players must learn to how to influence both the spin and bounce of the dice.
The Golden Touch Craps Team was formed by Scoblete and an incredible dice roller known as the Dominator (Dominic LoRiggio ). Their amazing dice rolling abilities have been put on display in an A&E special, a History Channel documentary and on the Travel Channel. The team maintains that with proper instruction and tons of practice, anyone can learn the basics of rhythmic rolling.
Other gambling experts like Stanford Wong (the Godfather of Blackjack) and Chris Pawlicki (who goes by the name SharpShooter) have also written books that analyze the practice of dice control.
